We are thrilled to announce that Wellspring-Scotland has been awarded a generous grant of £78,000 to be spent over the next 3 years from The Robertson Trust. This significant funding will enable us to provide vital support to those in our community who are seeking access to therapy sessions.
At Wellspring-Scotland, we understand the importance of mental well-being and the challenges individuals face in accessing professional mental health support. With this grant, we can make therapy and counselling more accessible to those people that cannot afford to pay, whilst promoting a healthier and happier community.
Opening up opportunities for people to access therapy and counselling will support people to:
Improve their well-being: Therapy can significantly improve mental well-being by offering a safe and confidential space for individuals to express themselves, cope with life’s challenges, and work towards personal growth.
Reduce stress and anxiety: Through evidence-based therapeutic techniques, our trained therapists will support clients in managing stress and anxiety, empowering them to lead more fulfilling lives.
Enhance their coping strategies: Therapy equips individuals with effective coping strategies to navigate difficult emotions and life circumstances, fostering resilience and emotional strength.
Have better relationships: Working with Wellspring-Scotland’s therapists can lead to improved communication skills and healthier relationships, enriching personal connections and social interactions.
Have a positive impact on their community: By investing in mental health care through therapy, we aim to build stronger, more supportive communities where individuals can thrive and contribute positively to society.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Robertson Trust for supporting Wellspring-Scotland. Together, we will make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our community.
