We are indebted to Danny Bhoy and his sister Bina for their magnanimous donation to Wellspring for the purpose of working with children and young people in and around Leith. Already a young people’s nurturing group has been initiated in Leith. We look forward with excitement to further developments and to extending Wellspring’s focus of work in our home territory.
Jade White joined Wellspring as an Administrative Assistant after completing a 9 month placement here at Wellspring with Community Jobs Scotland starting in March 2013.

Wellspring Lecture with Judith Fewell was very well attended. In the talk Judith explored how our families’ unnarrated and unspeakable stories exert their influence across generations. This fund raising event was held at Lauriston Hall, Edinburgh and was a huge success.
As part of the Edinburgh Festival, Wellspring hosted a public talk by Maura Sills, “Relational Mindfulness”. It was held at the Butterfly Cafe, Marchmont St Giles and was well attended.
Wellspring received a donation of £1,000 from the Evelyn Drysdale Charitable Trust in support our work.
The Scottish Community Foundation awarded Wellspring £3,500 to provide counselling to women affected by domestic violence.
Catherine Butler-Burns as a co-opted member of the board. This will be formalised by vote at the AGM.
The Russell Trust awarded Wellspring £800 to provide counselling to women affected by domestic violence.
