Adrian’s theoretical approach is strongly influenced by the work of Milton Erickson (Hypnotherapy) and Arnold Mindell (Process Oriented Psychology). His Therapeutic Philosophy is based on the belief that we are all, at our deepest core, whole and healthy. Fundamentally we need to think less and have the courage to feel more.
He tends to use formal hypnotherapy very sparingly, and instead believes in gently challenging thought patterns and behaviours at a conscious level via a variety of different approaches.
Adrian is a passionate advocate of dialogue within the context of a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, enabling change in the way we see ourselves and our experiences.
He works both with adults and couples and his particular areas of interest are confidence and self-esteem; depression, anxiety, habits and phobias, bereavement, performance issues and relationships.
