Wellspring is a leading Centre for the provision of affordable high-quality psychotherapy and counselling to individuals; couples, groups, families and young people.
We were established in 1978 and are based in the Leith area of Edinburgh.

August 2017: Wellspring has been successful in procuring a BBC Children In Need fund which now puts them in the position to provide a bulk of therapy sessions for children of refugees and those from low-income families. We are so grateful for this award and give thanks to ex-board member and friend of Wellspring, Ellen Hair, the Clinical Managerial Team Maggie Mackechnie and Corinna Tebbutt and Administration for all their hard work to achieve this.
Wellspring greatly appreciates a refurbishment grant from the Clothworkers’ Foundation for our Waiting Room and children’s therapy space.
Wellspring’s experienced supervisors offer Clinical Supervision for therapists.
We provide Employee Assistance Programmes for organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors such as local authorities, social work departments, solicitors and housing associations.
Wellspring has an annual programme of exciting events aimed at the public and counsellors and psychotherapists. This includes workshops, courses and upcoming fundraising events.
